One of the most popular herbs, Dill is very easy to grow, reaching 3ft - 5 ft (90-150cm) tall. The uniquely flavoured leaves are used in salads, dips, vinegars, meat, fish and vegetable dishes. The seeds are essential in many pickle recipes and are used to flavour baked goods, cheeses and egg dishes. A pretty plant with lacy foliage.

Direct sow seeds several weeks before the last spring frost date as seedlings are hardy. Make succession sowings to ensure a continuous supply until fall frost. Plants make rapid growth and produce attractive yellow clusters that produce flavourful seeds.
