Here is a long, fine-grained carrot that is nearly coreless. A rich orange colour, it is delicious raw, cooked or frozen. Cylindrical and blunt-ended.

As seed is so small, mix with some sand when sowing. Keep the seedbed evenly moist during the 3-week germination period. Thin seedlings. Harvest any time after the carrot roots develop good colour. Succession plantings can be made every 2-3 weeks.
